I know
such long time I did not write anything on my blog. To be honest, ı was give up
to keep a blog. But last night ı opened my blog (actually not only blog but
also my PC) and ı check how many people still keep going to visit Hudebes and
then I got shock. Because there are lots of people who is still look my blog.
İt made me so much happy.
And then
I decide write a new content. After a long time I share a new song which
is name 'Ayrılık' (Separation) I dont know lots of things about the singer,
Deniz Tekin. Nowadays her songs cover is so much famous in Turkey. The song,
Ayrılık is an Azerbaijan traditional song. I already like it so much before,
but this version is amazing.
Katyusha (Катюша) ; diminutive of Catherine. İt obviously Russian Song You can understand without any explanation. But when we came ' A love and war song' part, yes, this is little bit complex. Before explain war and love song issue I should say that lots of people know Katyusha as anonymous russian folk song but it is not. İt composed in 1938 by Matvei Blanter with lyrics from Mikhail Isakovsky. İt sounds like so traditional and old but obviosly not. Actually if we focus on the songs composed year, 1938, We can have some tips about the 'war song' issue. As know that years Russia in World War II. İn that time the song gained fame during World War II as an inspiration to defend one's land from the enemy.
The song of Katyusha combines elements of the heroic, upbeat battle song and of a peasant song depicting a girl longing for her absent love. Standing on a high riverbank, a young woman, Katyusha, sings of her beloved (compared to "a gray eagle of the steppes"), who is a soldier serving on the border far away. The theme of the song is that the soldier will protect the Motherland and its people while his girl will preserve their love. While the song is joyful and filled with the imagery of a fertile, blooming land, it also conveys the sense that the motherland is under threat. "Katyusha" was first sung by female students from a Russian industrial school in Moscow to bid farewell to Russian soldiers going on the battle front against Nazi Germany in July 1941. It quickly became popular throughout the USSR. Its first official performance was by Valentina Batishcheva in the Column Hall of Moscow's House of the Unions. Later it was performed by Lidiya Ruslanova, Georgi Vinogradov, Eduard Khil, Anna German, ( I prefered to share German one, because, in my opinion Anna German version is the best one )Ivan Rebroff, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Iosif Kobzon, countertenorVitas, and other singers. "Katyusha" is part of the repertoire of the Alexandrov Ensemble. When we came to ' Love song' part I think this song has to way about love. First one Katyuhsa's love for her country and second one is her love for her lover who is in the battle. Such interesting song which is I like so much and there is one last information and then I ll share song's lyric;Katyusha is a diminutive form of the female name Ekaterina (Katherine). The song is the probable source of the nickname of the BM-8, BM-13, and BM-31 "Katyusha" rocket launchers that were used by the Red Army in World War II.
Time is really flying. I cant understan how time passed from I start write my first content to now such fastly. Azam Ali / Niyaz was my first singer/ group which I shared with you. ( and dont get alarmed this is not last one:)) I said this thing beacuse this song was I would decied shared with you as first content but then I change my desicion and shared other one. Every song has time I guess and today time of Parhishaan.
Parhishaan is about patiently wait story. waiting for someone or someting in patient. İt hard to describe such stong emotion as word. İmage that you wait sometin/ someone but you have no much hope but you wait again and you feel so much tired because of whole waiting thing. I dont know is this write or wrong. I mean maiting is good but sometime. Because life is gone and we cant turn any moment back. But again one way or another we wait someting. But someone us wait from future wait from a new people, new places and new feeling. On the other hand some on else wait from back, past old people and lost times. I was like that I mean I was wait from past a few mounth ago. But ı change my side and I feel better now.
Well well I think I shoul said someting about Niyaz but I already talk about them my before content. But I can say summery they are amazing group from Persian. And I love her so much. and here is spng lyric and english translate.
Heartsick
I came into this world with no possessions
Awarded only a yearning heart*
All those who came before me have returned to the dust
And it is from this dust which I have been created
O beloved, when will you arrive, when will you arrive?
I cannot bear one moment of this separation
Lucky are those who are on your path
Lucky are those who place their head at your feet
I am even willing to surrender my heart
To those whose hearts hold your love
Even if you have a crown and sit at a throne
In the end you will have nothing
Even if you are destined for great riches**
In the end you will return to the dust
*The word پریشان (parišān/parishaan) can mean a few different things - distressed, miserable, heartsick, distraught. Therefore, I thought 'Heartsick' made for an apt title. ** I think Azam is talking about Suleiman the Magnificent here, Great Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, referring to his immense wealth.

Evolution of Arabic Music
So because of this news things I did not want to share some specific song, instade of that I shared this cute combination of arabic music. Yeah this video makes me really smile everytime I watch. and Alaa Wardi. He is an Iranian a cappella artist, who became an online YouTube sensation in the Arab world and Turkey. Actully When I learned that wardi is Persian, ı really suprised. But than I learn that he born and rise in n Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. So this makes sense his perfect arabic. his family own a furniture business in Riyadh so it is clear to he was born rich ^^. And his music career;
He studied music and sound engineering in University of Jordan. He lives in Riyadh. He is a musician, composer, singer, songwriter and audio engineer.
Last thing about him, Wardi is obviously look like funny person. I like him and his way of music ^^
An ancient Andalusian song....singing by Lena Chamamyan. This songs really impressed me. I mean , as if it had been came from 1001 Night Fairy Tales. There is such storng power, the song had. Before, I had already interest with arabic culture and songs but after I started take arabic course, my interest grew day by day. Actually my origin came from Egytp ( Dad, side not mom) maybe this interested thing can relative with my origin, I dont know... :)
Today I'm gonna focus on the song, not singer because I already talk abaout Lena Chamamyan in my one of old content. I'm searched someting about the song but sadly I could not find so much thing about the song . Lamma Bada Yatathana (لما بدا يتثنى) is and old Andalusian song, like I said before. The song writer is İbn Baya ( but this is not clear) and song have various cover, so much famous between Mediterranean Countries. As final information I found one of version what singing in Spanish,( my source said Spanish but I am not sure, because it sound like Greece) Hebraic and Arabic. And I want to share this version also,
Here he comes (muswashah) Lamma Bada - Bustan Abraham
And Finally here is the Lyric in Engilish;
When she started to walk with a swinging gait aman aman aman aman her beauty amazed me aman aman aman aman
I have become prisoner of her eyes aman aman aman aman her stem folded as she bent aman aman aman aman
O my promise, O my perplexity, who can answer my complaint about love and suffering but the beautiful one? aman aman aman aman about love and suffering but the beautiful one? aman aman aman aman
Today I'm gonna talk about Racid Taha's Now or Never. Now or Never... Better known as one of Elvis Presley song. ( By the way I'm also a big fan of Presly, ^^) But the song's origin came from ' O Sole Mio' . O Sole Mio is a globally known Neapolitan song written in 1898. Its lyrics were written by Giovanni Capurro and the music was composed by Eduardo di Capua. Actually this song is one of the most populer İtalian song ever. But Elvis Presly version is more known than O Sole Mio. I 'll give links for this two different version. But today content is about Racid Taha's version :)
So Lets Talk About Taha!
Rachid Taha (رشيد طه) is an Algeriansinger and activist based in Francewho has been described as "sonically adventurous." His music is influenced by many different styles such as rock, electronic, punk and raï. Actually I think his style look like his life story. He was born in Algeria, He live in eastern music since his ten. And he was Algerian struggle for independence against French authority. And I think this events effect him ideas and music style which he will have in future. Than he moved to French with his parent. This is the one of the most important thing for Taha's life. Becase after this point, his life was totally changed. He had a tough life in french. When 17, Taha worked during the day at a central heating plant, described as a "menial job", and hated this work, but at night worked as a club DJ playing Arabic music, rap, salsa, funk and "anything else that took his fancy." The contrast between menial work during the day and fun during the night may have helped to develop his musical sensibility .In the late 1970s, Taha founded the nightclub called The Rejects or, in French, Les Refoulés, where he would spinmashups of Arabic pop classics over Led Zeppelin, Bo Diddley and Kraftwerkbackbeats.
I know some other lovely Racid Taha's songs, and next times I will share them. But today thats all :)) Of course I ll share the songs lyric. ( But I could not found English translate for songs Arabic's parts)
By the way, nowadays I feel better and I think my life is gonna be good and big news I begin take a private arabic course! yeah in the future I'll translate my songs which I share with you

ya 'oumri
Such a pretty song,.. actually all of this woman songs is perfect. she also have French songs. But today I gonna talk about Hayati. Actually I dont know why I choosed Hayati. I was little bit confused about what I should share as a next content. But suddenly I decided on Hayati.
My Life..
'Hayati' ( حياتي) means ' My life'. Maybe reason is this. Quite recently, I all the time thinking about my life. I mean my past. Why all this things happen to me ? really whats wrong with me ? I cant stop thinking about all this things what happen in last 4 month. Anyway, I have to forget somethings, and forgive someones. Therefore, I can smile again.
I know, I did not talk about Who is Massi, where is she from, what is special about her... İn another songs of Souad Massi, I will tell everything about her.
Finally here is Engilish lyric of song
My Life
How much of a book I have read How much of tales I have been told I asked who tried They left nothing but empty lines
I didn't know the way to sun And the flowers wilted in spring I find prison in every home The bird I've sent returned back to me
I am living in a dream one time we believe and sometimes not They told me everything will be dicovered by time Who sell dreams let me know
The truth can't be seen from lies except what is high on mountains Sun sets in morning
They covered the sun for me by the riddle
Rainfalls doesn't extinguish, The burning fire inside of me My tears are not enough No one knows of me but God
After a long time, I'm back and I finally wrote something. I know for such a long time I did not write anything. But I had reasons for this situation. Depression, working, and again depression... But I got over all tough times. I hope I will have more good time than my past. But my biggest problem was that I could not decide what I supposed to share. I had to share something, I mean song, that it should be more special than I shared ones until this time. Something really different, something, really from me. And suddenly I heard this song ( thanks to my younger sis) and I said ' yeah this is exactly what I want to share.
Azerbaijani, Armenian, Kurdish, Persian..
First part of the song is kurdish ( and also kurdish is my second mother language :) second part of song is persian. You can heard this song in armenian, Azerbaijani and (you can't believe but ) even in Greece. Actually this is what I really try to do with my blog. You know we lived lots of historical things in this area ( Turkey, Armenia Azerbaijan,Persian Iraq..) I called old Mesopotamia. We are still same people, we are share same history, same feelings same pains and same songs... We are not different. And I think we have to keep trying to remember our comman culture and music is the best way to remember of this.
Mohsen Namjoo.. Ey Sareban... Such a tough thing what talking about this lovely song. I have lots of thing to say, on the other hand I am in full of silence. I mean that words is meaningless in the face of this song. But I have to try saying something about it. I think, I should talk about Mohsen Namjoo firstly..
'Some call him a sort of Bob Dylan of Iran'
Bob Dylan of İran ? Yeah, but these are not my words (Also, as I have just read he dont like this comparison) The New York Time compare Mohsen with Bob Dylan. And I think, their life stories look like each other in some ways. But today I gonna talk about Namjoo, Not Dylan ( Sorry Bob but You know that I love you too:) ) Mohsen Namjoo is an Persian musician, singer-songwriter. His style of music is influenced by Blues and Rock as well as Iranian folk music. The lyrics of his songs are also odd combination of Persian classical poems, his own lyrics, and contemporary poems. His life story is so interesting as much as his music style. He was born in 1976 in Torbat-e Jam, a small town in northeastern Iran. He was starting interested in with Iranian poem and music when he was a child. But he has a traditional conservative family, firs time of his music career , his family did not support that about going to Tehran University Faculty Of Fine Arts. But he gone and get studied music. But his university life did not take to long time. The third year of his university life, he was fired from university because of his unusual music style. But this was not the end of his story ,contrarily this is kinda begining of his story. After all this thing he create his own music. There is one more thing about his life, particularly I want to share with you.
Love you Namjoo, Keep fighting !
In 2006 the Iranian judicial system sentenced Namjoo in absentia to a five-year jail term for allegedly ridiculing the ash-Shams, surah of the Quran, in his song "Shams" Mohsen apologized as formal way but İranian government did not accept his apology. I dont know exactly how but the conviction of Mohsen Namjoo did not took place. There is a something we have to focus on. A person who create a new music style in own way. And he used a Quran's Surah his own music. Think about that ' Why a person use something what he did not care in his own work?" I tried to find Shams English or Turkish Lyric but I could not. So I'm not sure What he say about these Surah. But, in a good way or bad way he must study on this Surah to use and also lots of person whole over the world hear this Surah thanks to Mohsen. Recently we are who called ownself muslim believer even did not open the Quran cover, he study on these Surah and reach lots of persons. Summarize, I love you Namjoo, Keep fighting !
Ey Sareban
There are more things that talking about Mohsen but I think I have to pass the song; Ey sareban. Actually it is a poem what written by Rahim Moeini Kermanshahi and Kouros Sarhang Zadeh used this poem in song form at movie of Leyli and Majnoon before Mohsen Namjoo. Believe me Mohsen Namjoo version is best one ever. Finally here is Ey sareban lyric in English
Oh you cameller
Oh you cameller, oh you caravan! Where are you taking my Leili( My lover)? As you take my Leili with you, you take my heart and my soul along, Oh you cameleer, where are you heading to? Why are you taking my Leili along with you? Oh you cameleer, where are you heading to? Why are you taking my Leili along with you?
As we avowed our love, no one witnessed but our Lord, As long as this world is revolving, may our love live, Oh you cameller, oh you caravan! Where are you taking my Leili( My lover)? As you take my Leili with you, you take my heart and my soul along, Oh you cameleer, where are you heading to? Why are you taking my Leili along with you? Oh you cameleer, where are you heading to? Why are you taking my Leili along with you?
All the religion I prtacticed, in this mortal world, turned into a sprickel of love, annd that became my living, How good it is to shed a tear in the memory of a lover, how good it is to live, as you are burning with love, O,G-d, I pray to you so thay always love stays in the hearts, as ours do Because the story of Leili and Majnoon[ the Easten legendary lovers] become a fiction, but ours becomes immortal,
Why you are running away from my love now? Why you are not reading the signs of dispair through my eyes? The way I feel sad you have no clue, I will not survive after you I swear to G-d, (so) stay and confi8rm the death of my heart and then leave, As a mighty storm, pick the flower of my being from the branches of sorrow and leave, Because I am that one tree that stays in the way of strom, The same tree whose branches are all broken by the anger of nature,
Oh you cameller, oh you caravan! Where are you taking my Leili( My lover)? As you take my Leili with you, you take my heart and my soul along, Oh you cameleer, where are you heading to? Why are you taking my Leili along with you? Oh you cameleer, where are you heading to? Why are you taking my Leili along with you?
I could not write anything for such a long time! İt was a kind of break for me. Because of my exam week ( and I'm still in) I could not do anything. Just study, study and more study. But I'm REALLY boring. Somehow, my right now mood not depend on my exams. I dont know why but I feel exhausting in emotional way. Summary, I want a real break. So, as a first step, I can sleep and sleep again, believe me, I really need it.
I guess, because of my recently mood I am listening this song over and over again. Nami Nami is an Arabic lullaby. İt means ' Sleep Sleep'. Thanks to Azam Ali, I learned the lullaby. But believe me Azam Ali cover is better in all version. Niyaz ( Azam Ali soloist) and Azam Ali's other group members are Persian. Clearly Azam's Arabic pronunciation is not very well but still better version ever.
Swing (2002)
Generally I learn new songs from movies but this time I learn a new movie thanks to Nami Nami song. 'Swing' is a French film by Tony Gatlif, released in 2002. Unfortunately I have no any special information or impression about the movie because I don't watch Swing yet. But I will. I have just watched one part of movie what Nami Nami has sung by Hayat Ayad and I am really impressed.
Here is Synopsis of Swing
Max, an only child, is about ten years old. He becomes an avid fan of gypsy jazz the day he hears the virtuoso guitar player Miraldo strumming the chords. This music becomes his passion and leads him to the gypsy section of town where he buys an old guitar. While taking guitar lessons with Miraldo, Max discovers a whole new world, including Swing, a gypsy girl his age. They become fast friends. Swing's unusual self-assurance and animal magnetism enthrall Max. But Swing has a big surprise in store for her friend, one that turns Max's world upside down and throws him headlong into his first crush.
I dont know why but I listened this song today over and over . Yes, today we close 2015 and tomorrow is a new year. New year is like a empty page. Yes I hope, next year will be the one of best year for all of us. But ending is ending. So maybe we should think about something about our life and change before the new year. At least we should try. Anyway this thing what I said until the this moment not about the my today song ' Az Kafam Raha'
This is one of Persian song. this language is not just a language, I think. Anything what you saying in Persian can be part of a poem. Just Amazing! if we talk about specially 'Az Kafam Raha' is Traditional Persian song what written by Persian poet Aref Ghazvini.
Mah Ensemble
This song has been sung by lots of singer but I think Mah Ensemble version is the best one. Mah mean is Moon. I could not find so much specific information about the ensemble. Mah Ensemble is the one of famous group of Persian. They try to tell own culture to world by Traditional Persian Music. They have been performed lots of part of world.
